soviet unuion had flamethrowers ROKS-2(РОКС-2) and ROKS-3(РОКС-3), they had also FOG-1 and FOG-2 flamethrowers, stationary devices used in defense, they used flamethrowers also on tanks like Огнемет КС-25, I think KV-8 it is the most recognizable

The Soviets had the "Roks-2" and "Roks-3" flamethrower squads. Probably one of those will be included.

Mortars would be an absolute blast as a SUPPLEMENT to it.

Most of those things sound pretty dubious to game play honestly lol. Maybe the deplorable mine fields can be similar to barbed wire. Fairly small, built by an engineer, costing supplies, and only blocking a SMALL path. But that still sounds god awful lol. Mobile arty and recovery vehicles just sound dumb. Flame throwers are cool but meh. But mortar teams sound cool AF.
Can you make a video about stream sniping on HLL. Why does the game let Clans split up teams, Ive seen within 2 days clans doing this, where new garrisons go down in a few minutes in random locations. Also these clans will have 1 clan member join other team and just relay info standing around not playing the game, Ive seen them hang back at points, or even go sniper and just lay in the enemies location to disguise they arent doing shit.
I made a comment yesterday after the game we got wrecked, "why does this game let Clan members be on both teams"

Ive made it to lvl 80 and its obvious, towards the end of the game, after saying Stream Sniping in chat, they slowed down.
Would be cool with mortar teams like armor teams. One is carrying the ammunition, one is carrying the gun and one is commanding. I think that the flamethrower will most likely not burn the ground, probably make it black but most likely not and it will only blow up trucks most likely if I know the devs. Cars and soldiers will burn. Just a good guess that makes sense.
You made it sounds like some sort official announcement…This stuff hasn't been done since kickstarter campaign…Highly doubt it's coming anytime soon. Maybe next year British forces on PC, Consoles we're be lucky to see any update before Xmas.
mortars should replace arty bc it’s annoying to have to send your recon team to sit in the enemy base for the entire game just killing the arty players
There won't be any minefields, no specialist squads of any kind, not even for mortars. There won't be anything that can change the game for the better. When it comes to flamethrowers and fire… these have been pushed out of every single roadmap so far. Yeah – fire was so far in every roadmap. Yet, they were always moved to the next roadmap and the next and the next. And because of that, nobody can really know when the fire update will come (if ever xD).
And yep, the recovery vehicles are no longer an option since the pace of the game increased dramatically especially after removing the original 5×5 sectors-active gamemode and after making so large emphasis on grinding XPs and redeployment.

Been saying for years that deployable/buildable mortars need to replace the artillery pieces in HQ. I think I heard that their going to get of HQ artillery and introduce a new unit specifically for mortars.
Flamethrowers – It could be tanks as well, why not?
Took them 8 months for 1 map and few other things, I really doubt we will see any of this in this year. Considering all of these things were promised 3+ years ago, I would imagine it will take more than 8 months for all of these things to be added. Either way, will it really change the game at all? Do we really need more mortars, and more artillery? We need meta updates, logistics overhauls, support overhauls (again…) This game has no future, team17 didn't make this game, all they've done is turned it into an arcade game, console port, MTX junk.

Hey, Wiki! I understand the problems You forsee for these additions to the game, and i am experiencing the problems You mentioned as current example. But still i would like them to atleast try and add these new features. We can always decide to remove them later, if there is no balacing/lagg fixing/abusing problem solutions to be found. Give us a chance – im starting with making nodes basicly every game i play in, im trying to point out poor choices or luck of something in SL's or CO's decisions (at the best of my knoledge). Im swallowing disappointment when none of that helps us win or even makes any difference, becase im getting ignored. I am doing it, and there are players out there that do it. Give us a chance. It is, after all, more satisfying, when even if you alone realize it, but your team just won basicly thanks to you for the most part.

Soviets have their own ROKS-2 Flamethrower(or KS-2) and ROKS-3(since 1942). Soviets standard use flamethrowers during war(1941-45) in their units. ROKS-2 Flamethrower have best masking on soldiers, because gas tanks looks like backpack and flame projector was designed to resemble a standard Mosin–Nagant rifle. Finland copy this captured flamethrower and use it in war as Liekinheitin M/41-r. ROKS-3 was sold after war in limited numbers to North Korea, Egypt and Syria. I dont know if they add flamethrowers to game, but its was powerful weapon.
Sounds good. I can finally play HLL again. Game was crashing 24/7 since U12. Tried everything. Reinstalled Wndows, all Drivers etc. What fixed it? I installed Windows 11. No cap. Not a single crash since and my GPU is cooler for some reason. Very weird lol.
I think I remember the devs saying that the Russians will get molotovs while the other factions will get flamethrowers. I also remember them saying it would be a support gadget?
If that is the case they should limit the amount of flamethrowers on the field at once, maybe lock it at 1 or 2 per team at once.
