Editorial enquiries

Appropriate reasons to write
- You are a rightsholder or direct descendant and wish material to be removed, corrected, or attributed differently.
- You have a factual correction, supported by a primary-source citation.
- You can identify the original maintainer of the pre-2017 predecessor site and want that attribution added to the editorial record.
- You are a scholar or institutional holder who would like to contribute a primary-source reference not yet on the site.
- You have found a broken redirect from a legacy
.phpURL. - You have an editorial or press enquiry.
Rightsholder requests — what to include
- The URL of the relevant page on this site.
- Your relationship to the subject or material.
- The action you are requesting: removal, correction, updated attribution, or other.
- If you assert copyright in a specific passage, the passage and the nature of the claim. All editorial prose on this site is independently composed, and every quoted primary-source document is paraphrased or properly cited, so copyright conflicts are unusual — but we take any such claim seriously.
Response time is typically a few working days. Time-sensitive legal or privacy matters should be flagged in the subject line.
Our commitments
- We do not share your email address with any third party.
- We will not argue with a reasonable rightsholder removal request.
- We will not publish your contact information without your written permission.
